The process uses eco-friendly water-based inks that are ECO PASSPORT by OEKO-TEX® certified and meet the requirements of STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means that the labels are safe for the skin. When used as information labels, an important advantage is the ability to print information on both sides of the material, which reduces the volume of sewn-in labels in the finished product.

Flexographic labels can be ordered on two types of materials:

1. SatinAvailable in white and black, satin polyester is silky and delicate, ensuring comfort and an elegant look. Thanks to hot cutting, the edges of the label are protected against fraying, which increases their durability and aesthetics.

Advantages and disadvantages of flexographic labels compared to other technologies

Compared to sublimation printed labelsFlexographic labels are economical and ideal for simple, single-colour designs. Sublimation offers full-colour printing and more complex designs, but flexography is better suited to simple markings and text, especially on dark substrates.

Compared to thermal transfer labelsFlexographic labels are more durable and vivid. Thermal transfer often fades after repeated washing and offers less durability, while flexographic prints remain legible and intense even with frequent use.

Compared to jacquard labels: Woven labels are woven, which gives a luxurious effect, but this is a more expensive solution with limited colour options. Flexographic labels, on the other hand, allow for precise reproduction of details in saturated colours, which makes them more cost-effective for large print runs.

The price of flexographic labels depends on the number of items ordered, their size and the material selected (satin or cotton). The minimum order is 100 items, which allows flexibility for both larger manufacturers and smaller brands.
