Uses Labels with a logo, brand name, slogan or any design engraved into faux leather. A good choice for clothing, bags, textile accessories, handmade items and leather goods. They work as a durable branding detail sewn or clipped onto the product, and also as tags or key rings. The best choice for minimalist designs built on a logo and typography, where the texture of the material and a refined, crafted feel matter.

Engraving characteristics and limitations Engraving is done with a laser beam that removes the top layer of the material and reveals a contrasting, usually darker shade underneath. The result is single-colour and depends on the colour of the faux leather: colour printing, gradients and photos are not possible. Engraving is on one side only. Very fine details, thin lines and micro-text may merge or become hard to read.

Finishing and delivery Laser-cut to the shape you choose, including contour cuts, with a smooth edge. Holes can be cut for sewing, riveting or threading a leather cord. Material available in selected colours. Labels are supplied cut and loose.

Design tips Vector designs in a single colour (with the cutting line and the engraving on separate layers) give the best results. We recommend a minimum line thickness of 0.3 mm and a minimum text height of 2 mm. Keep important elements at least 2 mm from the cutting line and from the holes. Avoid gradients, photos and halftones. Ideal for durable, elegant labelling of textile and leather goods.
